[Machine] I said to Muṭarrif, "Indeed, between me and the mosque are ruins with dry ruins in them, and in front of them is good land." He said, "The good land purifies the corrupt land."  

الزهد لأحمد:١٣٦٨حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ عَنِ الْجُرَيْرِيِّ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ

قُلْتُ لِمُطَرِّفٍ إِنَّ بَيْنِي وَبَيْنَ الْمَسْجِدِ خَرَابَاتٍ فِيهَا عَذِرَاتٌ يَابِسَةٌ وَبَيْنَ يَدَيْهَا أَرْضٌ طَيِّبَةٌ فَقَالَ «الْأَرْضُ الطَّيِّبَةُ تُطَهِّرُ الْأَرْضَ الْخَبِيثَةَ»
