[Machine] He said to me, "Indeed, you will meet two men. One of them fasts and prays more than the other, and the other is more generous to the poor. They are both dear to Allah, but they are far away from each other." They said, "And how can that be, O Abu Bakr?" He said, "The one who is more cautious in his unlawful actions."  

الزهد لأحمد:١٣٦٠حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ حَدَّثَنَا بُكَيْرٌ يَعْنِي ابْنَ أَبِي الشُّمَيْطِ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مُطَرِّفٍ قَالَ

قَالَ لِي إِنَّكَ لَتَلْقَى الرَّجُلَيْنِ أَحَدُهُمَا أَكْثَرُ صَوْمًا وَصَلَاةً وَالْآخَرُ أَكْرَمُهُمَا عَلَى اللَّهِ ﷻ بَوْنًا بَعِيدًا قَالُوا وَكَيْفَ يَكُونُ ذَلِكَ يَا أَبَا بَحْرٍ؟ قَالَ يَكُونُ أَوْرَعَهُمَا فِي حَرَامِهِ
