[Machine] I have never heard of a suradiq except in Hellfire, and I swear by Allah, a suradiq will never be struck upon me. He (the narrator) said, "So his house was nothing but a small hut made of reeds until he met Allah."  

الزهد لأحمد:١٣٠٢ – حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي حَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ بْنِ زَنْجَوَيْهِ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْمُتَعَالِ بْنُ طَالِبٍ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ وَهْبٍ عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ أَيُّوبَ عَنْ عُبَيدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ زَحْرٍ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ قَالَ قِيلَ لِلْأَحْنَفِ بْنِ قَيْسٍ وَكَانَ سَيِّدَ قَوْمِهِ أَلَا نَضْرِبُ عَلَيْكَ سُرَادِقًا أَبَدًا؟ قَالَ مَا

سَمِعْتُ بِالسُّرَادِقِ إِلَّا فِي النَّارِ وَاللَّهِ لَا يُضْرَبُ عَلَيَّ سُرَادِقٌ أَبَدًا قَالَ فَمَا كَانَ بَيْتُهُ إِلَّا خُصًّا مِنْ قَصَبٍ حَتَّى لَقِيَ اللَّهَ ﷻ
