ahmad-zuhd:1261ʿAbdullāh from my father > Abū Muʿāwiyah al-Ghalābī > a man from Qawm ʿĀmir

[Machine] That Aamer came to a woman from Bilanbar to offer condolences to her on the death of her last remaining relative. He said to her, "Offer condolences with the Quran, for he who does not offer condolences with the Quran, his soul will be cut off from the world."  

الزهد لأحمد:١٢٦١حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ الْغَلَابِيُّ حَدَّثَنِي رَجُلٌ مِنْ قَوْمِ عَامِرٍ

أَنَّ عَامِرًا أَتَى امْرَأَةً مِنْ بَلْعَنْبَرٍ يُعَزِّيهَا عَلَى أَخٍ لَهَا كَانَ آخِرَ مَنْ بَقِيَ مِنْ أَهْلِهَا فَقَالَ لَهَا تَعَزِّي بِالْقُرْآنِ؛ فَإِنَّهُ مَنْ لَمْ يَتَعَزَّ بِالْقُرْآنِ تَقَطَّعَتْ نَفْسُهُ عَلَى الدُّنْيَا
