ahmad-zuhd:1259ʿAbdullāh from my father > ʿAffān > Jaʿfar > Mālik b. Dīnār > Someone

[Machine] Amr ibn Abdullah passed by Al-Rahba and saw a Dhimmi (a non-Muslim living under Muslim protection) being wronged. Amr threw down his cloak and said, 'I cannot witness the covenant of Allah being violated while I am alive.' Then he rescued him.  

الزهد لأحمد:١٢٥٩حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ حَدَّثَنَا جَعْفَرٌ حَدَّثَنَا مَالِكُ بْنُ دِينَارٍ حَدَّثَنِي فُلَانٌ

أَنَّ عَامِرَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ مَرَّ بِالرَّحْبَةِ وَإِذَا ذَمِّيٌّ يَظْلِمُ قَالَ فَأَلْقَى عَامِرٌ رِدَاءَهُ قَالَ ثُمَّ قَالَ لَا أَرَى ذِمَّةَ اللَّهِ تُخْفَرُ وَأَنَا حَيٌّ ثُمَّ اسْتَنْقَذَهُ
