ahmad-zuhd:1251ʿAbdullāh from my father > ʿAbd al-Ṣamad > Hammām > Qatādah

[Machine] Indeed, the angels rejoice in the winter for the believer because the days are shortened, so they fast and the nights are lengthened, so they stand in prayer. It has reached us that when 'Amir was present, he began to cry, so they asked him, "What makes you cry, O 'Amir?" He said, "I do not cry out of fear of death or eagerness for the world, but I cry over the thirst of the hungry and the standing of the winter."
