adab:114 –

Abu Dharr reported that the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said, "Abu Dharr! If you cook some stew, make a lot of it and fulfil your duty to your neighbours (or divide it among your neighbours)."

الأدب المفرد:١١٤ – حَدَّثَنَا الْحُمَيْدِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ الصَّمَدِ الْعَمِّيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عِمْرَانَ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ الصَّامِتِ عَنْ أَبِي ذَرٍّ قَالَ

قَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ يَا أَبَا ذَرٍّ إِذَا طَبَخْتَ مَرَقَةً فَأَكْثِرْ مَاءَ الْمَرَقَةِ وَتَعَاهَدْ جِيرَانَكَ أَوِ اقْسِمْ فِي جِيرَانِكَ
