abudawud:709 – Sulaymān b. Ḥarb And Ḥafṣ b. ʿUmar > Shuʿbah > ʿAmr b. Murrah > Yaḥyá b. al-Jazzār > Ibn ʿAbbās

The Prophet ﷺ was (once) praying. A kid went passing in front of him and he kept on stopping it.  

أبو داود:٧٠٩ – حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ وَحَفْصُ بْنُ عُمَرَ قَالاَ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ مُرَّةَ عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ الْجَزَّارِ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ كَانَ يُصَلِّي فَذَهَبَ جَدْىٌ يَمُرُّ بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ فَجَعَلَ يَتَّقِيهِ

‘Mention was made in the presence of Ibn ‘Abbas about what severs the prayer. They mentioned a dog, a donkey and a woman. He said: ‘What do you say about kids (young goats)? The Messenger of Allah ﷺ was performing prayer one day, when a kid came and wanted to pass in front of him. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ preceded it toward the Qiblah. (to tighten the space and prevent it from passing in front of him).’”  

ابن ماجة:٩٥٣ – حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَبْدَةَ أَنْبَأَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى أَبُو الْمُعَلَّى عَنِ الْحَسَنِ الْعُرَنِيِّ قَالَ ذُكِرَ عِنْدَ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ مَا يَقْطَعُ الصَّلاَةَ فَذَكَرُوا الْكَلْبَ وَالْحِمَارَ وَالْمَرْأَةَ فَقَالَ

مَا تَقُولُونَ فِي الْجَدْىِ إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ كَانَ يُصَلِّي يَوْمًا فَذَهَبَ جَدْىٌ يَمُرُّ بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ فَبَادَرَهُ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ الْقِبْلَةَ

[Machine] To pass in front of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ while he was praying and make sure to avoid interrupting him.

أَنْ يَمُرَّ بَيْنَ يَدَيْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ وَهُوَ يُصَلِّي فَجَعَلَ يَتَّقِيهِ
