abudawud:5244 – And Hb b. Baqiyyah > Khālid > Wāṣil > Yaḥyá b. ʿUqayl > Yaḥyá b. Yaʿmar > Abū al-Aswad al-Dīlī

The tradition mentioned above has also been transmitted by Abu Dharr through a different chain of narrators. In this version the transmitter mentioned the Prophet ﷺ in the middle of the tradition.  

أبو داود:٥٢٤٤ – حَدَّثَنَا وَهْبُ بْنُ بَقِيَّةَ أَخْبَرَنَا خَالِدٌ عَنْ وَاصِلٍ عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ عُقَيْلٍ عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ يَعْمَرَ عَنْ أَبِي الأَسْوَدِ الدِّيلِيِّ

عَنْ أَبِي ذَرٍّ بِهَذَا الْحَدِيثِ وَذَكَرَ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ فِي وَسْطِهِ
