A man came to the Prophet ﷺ, another man got up from his place for him, and when he went to sit in it, the Prophet ﷺ forbade him. Abu Dawud said: The name of Abu al-Khusaib is Ziyad b. 'Abd al-Rahman.
جَاءَ رَجُلٌ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ فَقَامَ لَهُ رَجُلٌ مِنْ مَجْلِسِهِ فَذَهَبَ لِيَجْلِسَ فِيهِ فَنَهَاهُ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ
[Machine] I did not sit in your seat or any other seat after witnessing something from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ . A man came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , so a person from his gathering stood up for him and went to sit in it, but the Messenger of Allah ﷺ prohibited him.
لَمْ أَكُنْ أَقْعُدُ فِي مَقْعَدِكَ وَلَا مَقْعَدِ غَيْرِكَ بَعْدَ شَيْءٍ شَهِدْتُهُ مِنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ جَاءَ رَجُلٌ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فَقَامَ لَهُ رَجُلٌ مِنْ مَجْلِسِهِ فَذَهَبَ لِيَجْلِسَ فِيهِ فَنَهَاهُ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ
