The Prophet ﷺ read the Qur'anic verse, "And take ye the Station of Abraham as a place of prayer.  

أبو داود:٣٩٦٩ – حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ النُّفَيْلِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا حَاتِمُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ ح وَحَدَّثَنَا نَصْرُ بْنُ عَاصِمٍ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ جَابِرٍ ؓ

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَرَأَ { وَاتَّخِذُوا مِنْ مَقَامِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ مُصَلًّى }
