when he intended to undertake a journey, Ibn ʿUmar used to say to a person to “Come close to me so that I may bid you farewell as the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to bid us farewell.” Then he would say: “I entrust to Allah your religion, and your trusts, and the last of your deeds (Astawdiʿullāha dīnaka wa amānataka wa khawātīma ʿamalik).”  

الترمذي:٣٤٤٣حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ مُوسَى الْفَزَارِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ خُثَيْمٍ عَنْ حَنْظَلَةَ عَنْ سَالِمٍ
