[Machine] "Because for a man to sit on two cushions is better for him than to sit cross-legged during prayer." Abdul Razzaq said, "If he prays standing, then he should not sit in a cross-legged position during the tashahhud (a part of the prayer) and if he prays sitting, then he should sit cross-legged."  

الطبراني:٩٣٩٢حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّزَّاقِ عَنِ الثَّوْرِيِّ عَنْ حُصَيْنِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ هَيْثَمِ بْنِ شِهَابٍ قَالَ قَالَ عَبْدُ اللهِ

«لَأَنْ يَجْلِسَ الرَّجُلُ عَلَى رَضِيفَتَيْنِ خَيْرٌ لَهُ مِنْ أَنْ يَجْلِسَ فِي الصَّلَاةِ مُتَرَبِّعًا» قَالَ عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ يَقُولُ «إِذَا كَانَ صَلَّى قَائِمًا فَلَا يَجْلِسْ يَتَشَهَّدُ مُتَرَبِّعًا وَإِذَا صَلَّى قَاعِدًا فَلْيَتَرَبَّعْ»
