[Machine] I caressed my wife, and I struck her in my hand, and she died. This happened during the expedition of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ to Tabuk. So I went to him and informed him about my wife whom I accidentally hit. He said, "Do not inherit her."  

الطبراني:٧٢٠٤ – حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ زُهَيْرٍ التُّسْتَرِيُّ ثنا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْوَرَّاقُ الْوَاسِطِيُّ ثنا خَالِدُ بْنُ مَخْلَدٍ الْقَطَوَانِيُّ ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ عُمَيْرٍ الْمَدَنِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي عُمَرُ بْنُ شَيْبَةَ بْنِ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ

كُنْتُ أُدَاعِبُ امْرَأَتِي فَأَثْرَى فِي يَدِي فَمَاتَتْ وَذَلِكَ فِي غَزْوَةِ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ تَبُوكًا فَأَتَيْتُهُ فَأَخْبَرْتُهُ عَنِ امْرَأَتِي الَّتِي أَصَبْتُهَا خَطَأً فَقَالَ «لَا تَرِثْهَا»
