[Machine] Ali ibn Abi Talib came with water in a container, meaning a shield, on the day of Uhud. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ washed his face with it and said, "This water has turned cold." It means it has changed. He said, "Fatima took a piece of mat and burned it and put it on his wound."  

الطبراني:٥٨٦٩حَدَّثَنَا عُمَرُ بْنُ حَفْصٍ السَّدُوسِيُّ ثنا عَاصِمُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ ثنا أَبُو مَعْشَرٍ عَنْ أَبِي حَازِمٍ عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ قَالَ

جَاءَ عَلِيُّ بْنُ أَبِي طَالِبٍ بِمَاءٍ فِي دَرَقَةٍ يَعْنِي تُرْسًا يَوْمَ أُحُدٍ فَغَسَلَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ وَجْهَهُ وَقَالَ «هَذَا مَاءٌ قَدْ أَسِنَ» يَعْنِي تَغَيَّرَ قَالَ وَأَخَذَتْ فَاطِمَةُ قِطْعَةَ حَصِيرٍ فَأَحْرَقَتْهُ وَوَضَعَتْهُ عَلَى جُرْحِهِ
