بَدْرُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ، عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ
[Machine] "Do you not feel ashamed before the one the angels feel ashamed of?" We said, "And who is that?" He said, "I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, 'Uthman passed by me and I had an angel with me. He said, 'A witness who will be killed by his people. Indeed, we feel ashamed of him.' He said, 'Badar, so we turned away from him a group of people.'"
أَلَا تَسْتَحْيُونَ مِمَّنْ تَسْتَحْيِي مِنْهُ الْمَلَائِكَةُ؟ قُلْنَا وَمَا ذَاكَ؟ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ مَرَّ بِي عُثْمَانُ وعِنْدِي مَلَكٌ مِنَ الْمَلَائِكَةِ فَقَالَ شَهِيدٌ يَقْتُلُهُ قَوْمُهُ إِنَّا لَنَسْتَحْيِي مِنْهُ قَالَ بَدْرٌ «فَانْصَرَفْنَا عَنْهُ عِصَابَةً مِنَ النَّاسِ»
