[Machine] I used to write for the Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , and I would place the pen on my ear when the order for battle came. Then a blind man came to him and said, "How can I fight when I am blind?" So, the verse was revealed: "There is no blame upon the blind."
كُنْتُ أَكْتُبُ لِرَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ وَإِنِّي لَوَاضِعٌ الْقَلَمَ عَلَى أُذُنِي إِذْ أُمِرَ بِالْقِتَالِ إِذْ جَاءَ أَعْمَى فَقَالَ كَيْفَ بِي وَأَنَا ذَاهِبُ الْبَصَرِ؟ فَنَزَلَتْ {لَيْسَ عَلَى الْأَعْمَى حَرَجٌ}
