[Machine] Ali and Abbas argued with each other in front of Abu Bakr about the inheritance of the Prophet ﷺ . He said, "I would not deviate from the position that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ had placed it in."  

الطبراني:٤٤ – حَّدَثَنا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ ثنا أَبُو غَسَّانَ مَالِكُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ النَّهْدِيُّ ثنا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ حُمَيْدٍ الرَّوَاسِبِيُّ ثنا سُلَيْمَانُ الْأَعْمَشُ عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ رَجَاءٍ عَنْ عُمَيْرٍ مَوْلَى ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ؓ قَالَ

اخْتَصَمَ عَلِيٌّ وَالْعَبَّاسُ إِلَى أَبِي بَكْرٍ ؓ فِي مِيرَاثِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَقَالَ «مَا كُنْتُ لِأُحَوِّلَهُ عَنْ مَوْضِعِهِ الَّذِي وَضَعَهُ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ»
