tabarani:42Abū al-Zinbāʿ Rawḥ b. al-Faraj > Yaḥyá b. Bukayr > Āstukhlif Abū Bakr

[Machine] Abu Bakr was appointed as the successor on the day when the Messenger of Allah ﷺ passed away. Abu Bakr also passed away in the month of Jumada al-Akhirah in the thirteenth year of hijra, at the age of sixty-three, the same age as the Messenger of Allah ﷺ when he passed away, as mentioned by Aisha.  

الطبراني:٤٢حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الزِّنْبَاعِ رَوْحُ بْنُ الْفَرَجِ ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ بُكَيْرٍ قَالَ

اسْتُخْلِفَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ ؓ فِي الْيَوْمِ الَّذِي تُوُفِّيَ فِيهِ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ وَتُوُفِّيَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ ؓ فِي جُمَادَى الْآخِرَةِ سَنَةَ ثَلَاثَ عَشْرَةَ وَسِنُّهُ يَوْمَ تُوُفِّيَ «كَمَا ذَكَرَتْ عَائِشَةُ ؓ» سِنَّ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ وَهُوَ ابْنُ ثَلَاثٍ وَسِتِّينَ
