أُمُّ سِنَانٍ الْأَسْلَمِيَّةُ

[Machine] From her mother, Ummi Sinan al-Aslamiyah, from the Mubayi'ah, she said, "I came to the Prophet ﷺ and said, 'O Messenger of Allah, indeed, I have come to you out of shyness and I have not come to you seeking a need.' He said, 'If you were self-sufficient, it would be better for you.'"  

الطبراني:٢١٩٨٥حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَضْرَمِيُّ ثنا أَبُو كُرَيْبٍ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُمَرَ بْنِ صَالِحٍ ثنا أَبُو سِنَانٍ يَزِيدُ بْنُ حُرَيْثٍ عَنْ سُكَيْنَةَ بِنْتِ حَنْظَلَةَ

عَنْ أُمِّهَا أُمِّ سِنَانٍ الْأَسْلَمِيَّةِ مِنَ الْمُبَايِعَاتِ قَالَتْ جِئْتُ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ فَقُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ إِنِّي جِئْتُكَ عَلَى حَيَاءٍ وَمَا جِئْتُكَ حَتَّى أُلْجِئْتُ مِنَ الْحَاجَةِ فَقَالَ «لَوِ اسْتَغْنَيْتِ لَكَانَ خَيْرًا لَكِ»
