خَبَرُ أُمِّ سُلَيْمٍ فِي عَرَقِ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ

tabarani:21851Mūsá b. Hārūn > Hāshim b. al-Ḥārith al-Ḥarrānī > ʿUbaydullāh b. ʿAmr > Ayyūb > Muḥammad b. Sīrīn > Um Sulaym

[Machine] "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to visit me, and I would stretch out a mat for him to sit on. He would sweat and I would knead dough with his sweat. Muhammad ibn Sirin said, 'I obtained some of that dough from Umm Sulaim, and she gifted it to me. When Muhammad passed away, that dough was used to embalm him. He was fond of being embalmed with that dough.'"  

الطبراني:٢١٨٥١حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ هَارُونَ ثنا هَاشِمُ بْنُ الْحَارِثِ الْحَرَّانِيُّ ثنا عُبَيْدُ اللهِ بْنُ عَمْرٍو عَنْ أَيُّوبَ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سِيرِينَ عَنْ أُمِّ سُلَيْمٍ قَالَتْ

«كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يَقِيلُ عِنْدِي فَأَبْسُطُ لَهُ نِطَعًا فَيَقِيلُ عَلَيْهِ فَيَعْرَقُ فَكُنْتُ أَعْجِنُ السُّكَّ بِعَرَقِهِ» قَالَ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ سِيرِينَ وَاسْتَوْهَبْتُ مِنْ أُمِّ سُلَيْمٍ مِنْ ذَلِكَ السُّكِّ فَوَهَبَتْ لِي مِنْهُ فَلَمَّا مَاتَ مُحَمَّدٌ حَنَّطَ بِذَلِكَ السُّكِّ وَكَانَ مُحَمَّدٌ يُعْجِبُهُ أَنْ يُحَنِّطَ الْمَيِّتَ بِالسُّكِّ
