[Machine] The greying of the Prophet's ﷺ beard was such that when he applied oil to it, the greying would not be apparent, and when he left it without oil, the greying would be apparent.  

الطبراني:١٨٩٠حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ الْعَطَّارُ ثنا عُبَيْدُ اللهِ بْنُ مُعَاذٍ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي ثنا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ سِمَاكِ بْنِ حَرْبٍ سَمِعَ جَابِرَ بْنَ سَمُرَةَ قَالَ

«كَانَتْ شَيْبُ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ إِذَا سَرَّحَ لِحْيَتَهُ أَظُنُّهُ قَالَ ودَهَنَهَا لَمْ يَتَبَيَّنْ وَإِذَا تَرَكَهَا تَبَيَّنَ»
