[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ and his companions were sitting when he said, "Why do I see you scattered and separated?" Sufyan said, meaning their hair was cut short and scattered.  

الطبراني:١٨٢٣حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ ثنا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ ثنا سُفْيَانُ عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ عَنِ الْمُسَيَّبِ بْنِ رَافِعٍ عَنْ تَمِيمِ بْنِ طَرَفَةَ عَنْ جَابِرٍ قَالَ

جَاءَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ وَأَصْحَابُهُ جُلُوسٌ فَقَالَ «مَا لِي أَرَاكُمْ عِزِينَ؟» قَالَ سُفْيَانُ يَعْنِي حِلَقٌ مُتَفَرِّقِينَ
