tabarani:17032 – Aḥmad b. al-Muʿallá al-Dimashqī And ʾAbū ʿImrān Mūsá b. Sahl al-Jawnī Waʿabdān b. Aḥmad > Hishām b. ʿAmmār > Ismāʿīl b. ʿAyyāsh > ʿAmr b. Qays > Muʿāwiyah b. Abū Sufyān > al-Minbar Nazaʿ Bihadhih al-Āyah al-Yawm Akmalt Lakum Dīnakum Ḥattá Khatam al-Āyah

[Machine] It was revealed on the day of Arafah, on a Friday, then this verse was recited, "So whoever would hope for the meeting with his Lord - let him do righteous work and not associate in the worship of his Lord anyone." And he (Prophet Muhammad) said, "Indeed, it is the last verse that was revealed."  

الطبراني:١٧٠٣٢ – حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ الْمُعَلَّى الدِّمَشْقِيُّ وَأَبُو عِمْرَانَ مُوسَى بْنُ سَهْلٍ الْجَوْنِيُّ وَعَبْدَانُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ قَالُوا ثنا هِشَامُ بْنُ عَمَّارٍ ثنا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ عَيَّاشٍ ثنا عَمْرُو بْنُ قَيْسٍ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ مُعَاوِيَةَ بْنَ أَبِي سُفْيَانَ عَلَى الْمِنْبَرِ نَزَعَ بِهَذِهِ الْآيَةِ {الْيَوْمَ أَكْمَلْتُ لَكُمْ دِينَكُمْ} حَتَّى خَتَمَ الْآيَةَ قَالَ

نَزَلَتْ فِي يَوْمِ عَرَفَةَ فِي يَوْمِ جُمُعَةٍ ثُمَّ تَلَا هَذِهِ الْآيَةَ {فَمَنْ كَانَ يَرْجُو لِقَاءَ رَبِّهِ فَلْيَعْمَلْ عَمَلًا صَالِحًا وَلَا يُشْرِكْ بِعِبَادَةِ رَبِّهِ أَحَدًا} وَقَالَ إِنَّهَا آخِرُ آيَةٍ نَزَلَتْ
