[Machine] Ibn Mas'ud participated in a caravan and passed by the funeral of Abu Dharr on the side of the road. He and his companions stopped and performed the funeral prayer for him. Abu Dharr had entered Egypt and had settled there.  

الطبراني:١٦٢١حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحِيمِ الْبَرْقِيُّ ثنا عَبْدُ الْمَلِكِ بْنُ هِشَامٍ السَّدُوسِيُّ ثنا زِيَادُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ بُرَيْدَةَ بْنِ سُفْيَانَ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ كَعْبٍ

أَنَّ ابْنَ مَسْعُودٍ «أَقْبَلَ فِي رَكْبِ غِمَارٍ فَمَرَّ بِجِنَازَةِ أَبِي ذَرٍّ عَلَى ظَهْرِ الطَّرِيقِ فَنَزَلَ هُوَ وَأَصْحَابُهُ فَوَارَوْهُ وَكَانَ أَبُو ذَرٍّ دَخَلَ مِصْرَ واخْتَطَّ بِهَا دَارًا»
