[Machine] Ka'b said, "I witnessed with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ the conquest of Al-Aqaba. I did not miss any battle except the Battle of Badr. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ did not blame anyone who missed Badr. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ only set out to attack the caravan of Quraysh." He then mentioned the narration.
كَعْبٌ «شَهِدْتُ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ الْعَقَبَةَ وَلَمْ أَتَخَلَّفْ عَنْ غَزْوَةٍ غَزَاهَا إِلَّا غَزْوَةَ بَدْرٍ وَلَمْ يُعَاتِبْ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ أَحَدًا تَخَلَّفَ عَنْ بَدْرٍ إِنَّمَا خَرَجَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يُرِيدُ عِيرَ قُرَيْشٍ» فَذَكَرَ الْحَدِيثَ
