[Machine] "He was sitting in Damascus on a cold day, performing ablution. Bilal, the caller to prayer of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, passed by him, so he asked Bilal, 'How did the Messenger of Allah ﷺ perform ablution?' Bilal replied, 'He would wipe over his two socks and headscarf.'"  

الطبراني:١١١٥حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ ثنا أَبُو غَسَّانَ مَالِكُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ ثنا زُهَيْرٌ عَنْ حُمَيْدٍ الطَّوِيلِ عَنْ أَبِي رَجَاءٍ عَنْ عَمِّهِ أَبِي إِدْرِيسَ

أَنَّهُ كَانَ قَاعِدًا بِدِمَشْقَ فِي يَوْمٍ بَارِدٍ يَتَوَضَّأُ فَمَرَّ بِهِ بِلَالٌ مُؤَذِّنُ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فَقَالَ يَا بِلَالُ كَيْفَ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يَتَوَضَّأُ؟ قَالَ «يَمْسَحُ عَلَى الْخُفَّيْنِ وَالْخِمَارِ»
