[Machine] Bilal wiped over his ankles, so they asked him, "What is this for?" He said, "I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ wiping over his socks and his headscarf." Mammar did not mention Abu Idris in his narration, and this is also narrated by Yahya ibn Abi Ishaq from Abu Qilabah.  

الطبراني:١١١٣حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الدَّبَرِيُّ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّزَّاقِ عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ عَنْ أَيُّوبَ عَنْ أَبِي قِلَابَةَ قَالَ

مَسَحَ بِلَالٌ عَلَى مُوقَيْهِ فَقِيلَ لَهُ مَا هَذَا؟ قَالَ «رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَمْسَحُ عَلَى الْخُفَّيْنِ وَالْخِمَارِ» لَمْ يَذْكُرْ مَعْمَرٌ فِي حَدِيثِهِ أَبَا إِدْرِيسَ وَكَذَلِكَ رَوَاهُ يَحْيَى بْنُ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ أَبِي قِلَابَةَ
