"عن عبد الرحمن بن أبى ليلى قال: رأيت عليا توضأ فغسل وجهه ثلاثًا، وغسل ذراعيه ثلاثًا، ومسح برأسه واحدة، ثم قال: هكذا توضأ رسول الله ﷺ ".
I saw ‘ Ali performing ablution. He washed his face three times and his hands three times and wiped his head once. Then he (‘Ali) said: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to perform ablution in this way.
رَأَيْتُ عَلِيًّا ؓ تَوَضَّأَ فَغَسَلَ وَجْهَهُ ثَلاَثًا وَغَسَلَ ذِرَاعَيْهِ ثَلاَثًا وَمَسَحَ بِرَأْسِهِ وَاحِدَةً ثُمَّ قَالَ هَكَذَا تَوَضَّأَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ
"The Prophet performed Wudu; so he washed his face three times, and his hands three times, and wiped his head, and he said: "The ears are part of the head."
تَوَضَّأَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ فَغَسَلَ وَجْهَهُ ثَلاَثًا وَيَدَيْهِ ثَلاَثًا وَمَسَحَ بِرَأْسِهِ وَقَالَ الأُذُنَانِ مِنَ الرَّأْسِ
I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ as doing wudoo’. He washed his face three times and his hands three times, and he wiped his head and washed his feet.
رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ تَوَضَّأَ فَغَسَلَ وَجْهَهُ ثَلاثًا وَيَدَيْهِ ثَلاثًا وَمَسَحَ بِرَأْسِهِ وَغَسَلَ رِجْلَيْهِ غَسْلًا
I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ do wudoo’: he washed his face three times and his hands three times, and he washed his arms three times each, and wiped his head, and washed his feet thoroughly.
رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ تَوَضَّأَ فَغَسَلَ وَجْهَهُ ثَلاثًاوَيَدَيْهِ ثَلاثًا وَغَسَلَ ذِرَاعَيْهِ ثَلاثًا ثَلاثًا وَمَسَحَ بِرَأْسِهِ وَغَسَلَ رِجْلَيْهِ غَسْلًا
I saw 'Ali performing Wudu'. He washed his hands three times, and rinsed his mouth three times and his nose three times, and he washed his face three times and each forearm three times. Then he wiped his head and washed each foot three times. Then he said: 'This is the Wudu' of the Prophet ﷺ.'" (Using translation from Nasāʾī 115)
رَأَيْتُ عَلِيًّا تَوَضَّأَ فَغَسَلَ كَفَّيْهِ ثَلَاثًا وَتَمَضْمَضَ ثَلَاثًا وَاسْتَنْشَقَ ثَلَاثًا وَغَسَلَ وَجْهَهُ ثَلَاثًا وَذِرَاعَيْهِ ثَلَاثًا ثَلَاثًا وَمَسَحَ بِرَأْسِهِ وَغَسَلَ رِجْلَيْهِ ثَلَاثًا ثَلَاثًا ثُمَّ قَالَ هَذَا وُضُوءُ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ
