"عَنْ رَجُلٍ مِنْ بَنِى لَيْثٍ قَالَ: مَرَّ عَلِىُّ بْنُ أَبِى طَالِبٍ بِفِتْيَانٍ مِنْ قُرَيْشٍ يتذاكَرُونَ الْمُرُوَءةَ فَسَأَلهُمْ مَا تَذَاكَرُونَ؟ قَالُوا: الْمُرُوءَةَ، فَقَالَ عَلِىٌّ: الْمُرُوءَةُ الإِنْصَافُ وَالتَّفَضُّلُ".
