"The Messenger of Allah said: 'I have exempted you from (having to pay Zakah on) horses and slaves. Pay the Zakah on your wealth, for every two hundred (Dirhams), five."'
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَدْ عَفَوْتُ عَنِ الْخَيْلِ وَالرَّقِيقِ فَأَدُّوا زَكَاةَ أَمْوَالِكُمْ مِنْ كُلِّ مِائَتَيْنِ خَمْسَةً
the Messenger of Allah said: “I have exempted you from having to pay Zakat on horses and slaves, bring one quarter of one-tenth of every forty Dirhan: one Dirham.”
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ إِنِّي قَدْ عَفَوْتُ لَكُمْ عَنْ صَدَقَةِ الْخَيْلِ وَالرَّقِيقِ وَلَكِنْ هَاتُوا رُبُعَ الْعُشُورِ مِنْ كُلِّ أَرْبَعِينَ دِرْهَمًا دِرْهَمًا
The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: ʿI have relieved you of zakah on horses and slaves, but bring one quarter of one tenth, for every forty dirhams, one dirham.ʿ
