Abu Sa’id Al Khudri traced to Prophet ﷺ the following statement regarding the captives taken at Atwas. There must be no intercourse with pregnant woman till she gives birth to her child or with the one who is not pregnant till she has had one menstrual period.

أَنَّهُ قَالَ فِي سَبَايَا أَوْطَاسٍ لاَ تُوطَأُ حَامِلٌ حَتَّى تَضَعَ وَلاَ غَيْرُ ذَاتِ حَمْلٍ حَتَّى تَحِيضَ حَيْضَةً

أَنَّهُ قَالَ فِي سَبَايَا أَوْطَاسٍ «لَا تُوطَأُ حَامِلٌ حَتَّى تَضَعَ حَمْلَهَا وَلَا غَيْرُ ذَاتِ حَمْلٍ حَتَّى تَحِيضَ حَيْضَةً»

[AI] The Prophet ﷺ said about prisoners of war: "They are not to be taken as captives until they have given birth, and those who are not pregnant until they have menstruated."

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ فِي سَبْيِ أَوْطَاسٍ لَا يَقَعُ عَلَى حَامِلٍ حَتَّى تَضَعَ وَغَيْرِ حَامِلٍ حَتَّى تَحِيضَ حَيْضَةً

[AI] The Prophet ﷺ said regarding the captives of war: "No captive should be assaulted if she is pregnant." He said, "And no captive should be assaulted until she becomes pure from menstruation." Yahya added, "Or she is cleansed from menstruation."

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ فِي سَبْيِ أَوْطَاسٍ لَا تُوطَأُ حَامِلٌ قَالَ أَسْوَدُ حَتَّى تَضَعَ وَلَا غَيْرُ حَامِلٍ حَتَّى تَحِيضَ حَيْضَةً قَالَ يَحْيَى أَوْ تُسْتَبْرَأُ بِحَيْضَةٍ

[AI] The prophet ﷺ said during the Battle of Uhud: "The virgin girl should not be married until she reaches a maturity where she can carry a child, and the pregnant woman should not be divorced until she gives birth."
