السيوطي:٤-١٦٧٤b –

"عَنْ عَلِىٍّ قَال: لَا يصْلحُ للناس إِلا أَمِيرٌ بَرٌّ أَوْ فَاجِر. قَالُوا: يَا أَمِيرَ الْمُؤمِنِينَ! هَذَا الْبَرُّ فَكَيْفَ بالْفَاجِرِ؟ قَالَ: إِنَّ الْفَاجِر يُؤَمِّنُ الله به السُّبُلَ () وَيُجَاهِدُ بِهِ الْعَدُوَّ، وَيُجْبِى ( ) بِه الْفَىْءُ، وَيُقَامُ بِهِ الْحُدُود، وَيُحَجُّ بِهِ الْبَيْتُ، وَيَعْبُدُ الله فِيهِ الْمُسْلِمُ آمِنًا حَتَّى يَأتِيَهُ ( * *) أَجَلُهُ".
