He engraved on it "Muhammad, the Messenger of Allah." and said: "No one must engrave anything in the manner of this signet-ring of mine. He then transmitted the rest of the tradition.

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَنَقَشَ فِيهِ مُحَمَّدٌ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ وَقَالَ لاَ يَنْقُشْ أَحَدٌ عَلَى نَقْشِ خَاتَمِي هَذَا ثُمَّ سَاقَ الْحَدِيثَ

“The Messenger of Allah ﷺ wore a ring of silver, then he had engraved on it (the words) ‘Muhammad Rasul Allah’ (Muhammad the Messenger of Allah). And he said: ‘No one should have his ring engraved like this ring of mine.’”

اتَّخَذَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ خَاتَمًا مِنْ وَرِقٍ ثُمَّ نَقَشَ فِيهِ مُحَمَّدٌ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ فَقَالَ لاَ يَنْقُشْ أَحَدٌ عَلَى نَقْشِ خَاتَمِي هَذَا

“The Messenger of Allah ﷺ had a ring made for him, and he said: ‘I have had a ring made for me and had it engraved, and no one should make a ring with similar engraving.’” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 3640)

اصْطَنَعَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ خَاتَمًا فَقَالَ إِنَّا قَدِ اصْطَنَعْنَا خَاتَمًا وَنَقَشْنَا فِيهِ نَقْشًا فَلَا يَنْقُشُ أَحَدٌ عَلَيْهِ

[AI] The Prophet ﷺ said, "I have made a ring and nobody should engrave anything on it."

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ «إِنِّي اصْطَنَعْتُ خَاتَمًا فَلَا يَنْقُشْ أَحَدٌ عَلَى نَقْشِهِ»

قَالَ اصْطَنَعَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ خَاتَمًا وَقال قَدِ اصْطَنَعْتُ خَاتَمًا وَنَقَشْتُ فِيهِ نَقْشًا فَلا يَنْقُشْ أَحَدٌ عَلَيْهِ

"لَا ينبَغِي لأحَدٍ أنْ يَنْقُشَ عَلَى نَقْشِ خَاتَمِي هَذَا".
