Anas reported that the Prophet ﷺ said, "There is no infection* and there are no bad omens, although I am pleased by a good omen - a good word." * The majority of scholars interpret this to mean that these things in and of themselves do not transmit or cause harm through supernatural or hidden means but that Allah is ultimately in control and any fearful superstition around these is false.

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ لاَ عَدْوَى وَلاَ طِيَرَةَ وَيُعْجِبُنِي الْفَأْلُ الصَّالِحُ الْكَلِمَةُ الْحَسَنَةُ

What about the camels which, when on the sand (desert) look like deers, but when a mangy camel mixes with them they all get infected with mange?" قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «لَا عَدْوَى وَلَا صَفَرَ وَلَا هَامَةَ»

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "The one walking barefoot is more deserving to occupy the front of the road than the one wearing shoes."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «الْحَافِي أَوْلَى بِصَدْرِ الطَّرِيقِ مِنَ الْمُنْتَعِلِ»

"لا عَدْوَى وَلا طِيَرَةَ، وَيُعْجبُني الفألُ الصالِحُ، وَالفألُ الصالِحُ: الكلِمَةُ الحَسَنَةُ".
