[Machine] The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said, "Whoever apologizes to his brother with a genuine excuse and he does not accept it, then he bears the burden of the sin like that of the one who committed a major error."

الطبراني:٢١٥٦ – حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَضْرَمِيُّ ثنا أَبُو كُرَيْبٍ ثنا وَكِيعٌ وَحَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ ثنا مَلِيحُ بْنُ وَكِيعٍ ثنا أَبِي عَنْ سُفْيَانَ عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ عَنِ الْعَبَّاسِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْمُطَّلِبِ عَنْ مِينَا عَنْ جُودَانَ قَالَ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «مَنِ اعْتَذَرَ إِلَى أَخِيهِ مَعْذِرَةً فَلَمْ يَقْبَلْهَا فَإِنَّهُ عَلَيْهِ مِثْلُ خَطِيئَةِ صَاحِبِ مَكْسٍ»
