"عن أنس بن مالك أن عمرَ بن الخطاب لما طُعن عَوَّلَتْ حفصةُ، فقال: يا حفصةُ أما سمعت النبىَّ ﷺ يقول: إِنَّ الْمُعَوَّلَ عليه يعُذَّبُ؟ وعول صهيب (فقال عمر: يا صهيبُ أما علمتَ أن المعوَّلَ عليه يعَذَّبُ؟ ) ".

سَمِعْتِ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ الْمُعَوَّلُ عَلَيْهِ يُعَذَّبُ وَعَوَّلَ عَلَيْهِ صُهَيْبٌ فَقَالَ عُمَرُ يَا صُهَيْبُ أَمَا عَلِمْتَ أَنَّ الْمُعَوَّلَ عَلَيْهِ يُعَذَّبُ  

bayhaqi:7168 – Muḥammad b. ʿAbdullāh al-Ḥāfiẓ from my father
