"عَنْ سَلمَان أنَّ عُمَرَ قَالَ لَهُ: أَمَلِكٌ أَنَا أمْ خَلِيفَةٌ؟ فَقَالَ لَهُ سَلمَانُ: إِنْ أَنْتَ جَبَيْتَ مِنْ أَرْضِ الْمُسْلِمِينَ دِرْهَمًا أَوْ أَقَلَّ أَوْ أَكْثَرَ، ثُمَّ وَضَعْتَهُ في غَيْرِ حَقِّهِ، فَأَنْتَ مَلِكٌ غَيْرُ خَلِيفَةٍ، فَاسْتَعْبَرَ عُمَرُ".
