"عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ سَمُرَةَ قَالَ: صَلَّيْنَا مَعَ رَسُولِ الله ﷺ فَأَوْمَا إِلَيْنَا أَنِ اجْلِسُوا، فَجَلَسْنَا، فَقَالَ: مَا يَمْنَعُكُمْ أَنْ تَصُفُّوا كَمَا تَصُفُّ الْمَلاَئِكَةُ عِنْدَ الرَّحْمَنِ تَعَالَى؟ قَالَ: وَكَيْفَ يَصُفُّونَ يَا رَسُولَ الله؟ قَالَ: يُتِمُّونَ الصُّفُوفَ، وَيَرُصُّونَ الصُّفُوفَ رَصّا".

[Machine] We prayed with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, and he gestured to us to sit down, so we sat down. He said, "What prevents you from lining up as the angels do before the Most Merciful?" They said, "How do they line up, O Messenger of Allah?" He said, "They complete the first rows and perfect the alignment in the rows or they line them up perfectly."
صَلَّيْنَا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فَأَوْمَأَ إِلَيْنَا أَنِ اجْلِسُوا فَجَلَسْنَا فَقَالَ «مَا يَمْنَعُكُمْ أَنْ تَصُفُّوا كَمَا تَصُفُّ الْمَلَائِكَةُ عِنْدَ الرَّحْمَنِ؟» قَالُوا وَكَيْفَ يَصُفُّونَ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ؟ قَالَ «يُتِمُّونَ الصُّفُوفَ الْأُولَى ويَرْصُفُونَ فِي الصُّفُوفِ رَصْفًا أَوْ يَرُصُّوها رَصًّا»
