القضاعى عن ابن مسعود مرفوعًا في حديث بلفظ "حُمَّى ليلةٍ تُكفرُ خطايا سنة مُجَرَّمَةٍ" ورواه تمام في فوائده من حديث أَبى هريرة بلفظ الترجمة وزاد "وحُمَّى يومين كفارةُ سنتين، وحُمَّى ثلاثةِ أيامٍ كفَّارة ثلاث سنين" ولابن أَبى الدنيا من حديث الحسن رفعه مرسلا "إِنَّ اللَّه لَيكَفِّرُ عن المؤمِن خطاياهُ كلَّها بِحمَّى ليَلةٍ)
