"The Messenger of Allah ruled that every clan should take part in paying the blood money, and it is not permissible for a freed slave to take a Muslim (other than the one who freed him) as his Mawla (Patron) without the permission (of his former master who set him free)"  

النسائي:٤٨٢٩أَخْبَرَنَا الْعَبَّاسُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَظِيمِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا الضَّحَّاكُ بْنُ مَخْلَدٍ عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو الزُّبَيْرِ

أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ جَابِرًا يَقُولُ كَتَبَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ عَلَى كُلِّ بَطْنٍ عُقُولَةً وَلاَ يَحِلُّ لِمَوْلًى أَنْ يَتَوَلَّى مُسْلِمًا بِغَيْرِ إِذْنِهِ

[Machine] He heard Jabir ibn Abdullah saying that the Prophet ﷺ wrote on every contracted womb its intellect. Then he wrote that it is not permissible to pass a slave of a Muslim to someone else without his permission. He said, "Souls are to be respected."

[Machine] "Regarding a man who appoints someone else as his representative without his permission, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: On every person, their intellect is binding. He further said: It is not permissible for a Muslim slave to be entrusted to someone without his permission."
