[Machine] "The Prophet ﷺ passed by Abu Musa one night while he was reciting (the Quran). The Prophet ﷺ said, 'You have been granted a portion of the Psalms of the family of David.' When morning came, they informed him (Abu Musa) about it. The Prophet ﷺ said, 'If you had only informed me, I would have made it more clear.'"  

الكبرى للنسائي:٨٠٠٤أَخْبَرَنَا طَلِيقُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ السَّكَنِ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةُ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا مَالِكُ بْنُ مِغْوَلٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ بُرَيْدَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ

مَرَّ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ «عَلَى أَبِي مُوسَى ذَاتَ لَيْلَةٍ وَهُوَ يَقْرَأُ» فَقَالَ «لَقَدْ أُعْطِيَ مِنْ مَزَامِيرِ آلِ دَاوُدَ فَلَمَّا أَصْبَحَ ذَكَرُوا ذَلِكَ لَهُ» فَقَالَ «لَوْ كُنْتَ أَعْلَمْتَنِي لَحَبَّرْتُ ذَلِكَ تَحْبِيرًا»
