the Messenger of Allah forbade selling surplus water. The keeper of al-Wahat sold the surplus water of al-Wahat, and 'Abdullah bin 'Arm disapproved of that. (Using translation from Nasāʾī 4662)  

الكبرى للنسائي:٦٢١٣ – أَخْبَرَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا دَاوُدُ عَنْ عَمْرٍو عَنْ أَبِي الْمِنْهَالِ عَنْ إِيَاسٍ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ نَهَى عَنْ بَيْعِ فَضْلِ الْمَاءِ قَالَ وَبَاعَ قَيِّمُ الْوَهْطِ فَضْلَ مَاءِ الْوَهْطِ فَكَرِهَهُ عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ عَمْرِو بْنِ الْعَاصِ
