«كُنْتُ يَوْمَ حَكَمَ سَعْدٌ فِي بَنِي قُرَيْظَةَ غُلَامًا فَشَكُّوا فِيَّ فَلَمْ يَجِدُونِي أَنْبَتُّ فَاسْتُبْقِيتُ فَهَا أَنَا ذَا بَيْنَ أَظْهُرِكُمْ»

كُنْتُ يَوْمَ حُكْمِ سَعْدٍ فِي بَنِي قُرَيْظَةَ غُلاَمًا فَشَكُّوا فِيَّ فَلَمْ يَجِدُونِي أَنْبَتُّ فَاسْتُبْقِيتُ فَهَا أَنَا ذَا بَيْنَ أَظْهُرِكُمْ
[Machine] "He heard Atiyyah saying, 'I was once a young boy when Sa'd was appointed as their ruler. They were unable to find me, but now here I am among you.'"
أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ عَطِيَّةَ يَقُولُ كُنْتُ يَوْمَ حَكَمَ سَعْدٌ فِيهِمْ غُلَامًا فَلَمْ يَجِدُونِي أَنْبَتُّ فَهَا أَنَا ذَا بَيْنَ أَظْهُرِكُمْ
[Machine] Attiyah heard Saad saying, "I was in a day when Saad ruled and they couldn't find me growing up, so here I am amongst you."
