[Machine] "Do your desires harm you?" I said yes. "So he commanded me to fast or give charity or offer sacrifices." Ibn 'Awn explained it to me, but I did not memorize it. So I asked Ayyub, and he said fasting for three days, giving charity to six poor people, and offering sacrifices as much as you can afford.  

الكبرى للنسائي:٤٠٩٦أَخْبَرَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ عَلِيٍّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَزْهَرُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَوْنٍ عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي لَيْلَى عَنْ كَعْبِ بْنِ عُجْرَةَ قَالَ فِيَّ نَزَلَتْ هَذِهِ الْآيَةُ فَأَتَيْتُهُ فَقَالَ «ادْنُ» فَدَنَوْتُ فَقَالَ

«أَتُؤْذِيكَ هَوَامُّكَ؟» فَقُلْتُ نَعَمْ «فَأَمَرَنِي بِصِيَامٍ أَوْ صَدَقَةٍ أَوْ نُسُكٍ» قَالَ ابْنُ عَوْنٍ فَفَسَّرَهُ لِي مُجَاهِدٌ فَلَمْ أَحْفَظْهُ فَسَأَلْتُ أَيُّوبَ فَقَالَ الصِّيَامُ ثَلَاثَةُ أَيَّامٍ وَالصَّدَقَةُ عَلَى سِتَّةِ مَسَاكِينَ وَالنُّسُكُ مَا اسْتَيْسَرَ
