"When the Prophet and his Companions came to Makkah, the idolaters said: 'The fever of Yathrib has weakened them, and they have suffered a great deal because of it.' Allah informed His Prophet about that, so he told his Companions to walk rapidly, and to walk (at a normal pace) between the two corners, and the idolaters were on the side of the Stone. They said: 'They are stronger than such and such.'" (Using translation from Nasāʾī 2945)
