"I said to 'Aishah: 'What kind of perfume did you put on the Messenger of Allah?' she said: 'The best kind of perfume, when he entered Ihram and when he exited Ihram. (Using translation from Nasāʾī 2689)  

الكبرى للنسائي:٣٦٥٥ – أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ عُرْوَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ

قُلْتُ لِعَائِشَةَ بِأَيِّ شَيْءٍ طَيَّبْتِ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ؟ قَالَتْ «بِأَطْيَبِ الطِّيبِ عِنْدَ حَرَمِهِ وَحِلِّهِ»

I asked 'A'isha with what thing she perfumed the Messenger of Allah ﷺ at the time of entering upon the state of Ihram. She said: With the best of perfume.
