[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ used to go out for Fajr prayer and his head would be dripping with water, then he would remain fasting. Abu Abdur-Rahman said: "This narration is more accurate than the narration of Ka'b and Ka'b ibn Abdullah, as we do not know them and their narrations have errors and additions. The narration of Abu Asim and An-Nadr is more reliable, and the narration of An-Nadr is the most accurate, followed by the narration of Mughirah ibn Miqsam."  

الكبرى للنسائي:٣٠١٠أَخْبَرَنَا مَحْمُودُ بْنُ غَيْلَانَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو النَّضْرِ عَنِ الْأَشْجَعِيِّ عَنِ الثَّوْرِيِّ عَنْ حَمَّادٍ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنِ الْأَسْوَدِ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ

كَانَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ «يَخْرُجُ إِلَى الْفَجْرِ وَرَأْسُهُ يَقْطُرُ ثُمَّ يَظَلُّ صَائِمًا» قَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ «هَذَا أَوْلَى بِالصَّوَابِ مِنْ حَدِيثِ كَعْبٍ وَكَعْبُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ فَلَا نَعْرِفُهُ وَحَدِيثُهُ خَطَأٌ وَزَائِدَةُ أَثْبَتُ مِنْ أَبِي عَاصِمٍ وَمِنَ النَّضْرِ وَحَدِيثُ النَّضْرِ أَوْلَى بِالصَّوَابِ تَابَعَهُ عَلَى هَذِهِ الرِّوَايَةِ مُغِيرَةُ بْنُ مِقْسَمٍ»
