This hadith has been narrated on the authority of Abu Huraira through another chain of transmitters.  

مسلم:٢٨٣٤b – حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي عُمَرَ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ أَيُّوبَ عَنِ ابْنِ سِيرِينَ قَالَ

اخْتَصَمَ الرِّجَالُ وَالنِّسَاءُ أَيُّهُمْ فِي الْجَنَّةِ أَكْثَرُ فَسَأَلُوا أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ فَقَالَ قَالَ أَبُو الْقَاسِمِ ﷺ بِمِثْلِ حَدِيثِ ابْنِ عُلَيَّةَ
