Abu 'Uthman reported on one of the days when Messenger of Allah ﷺ was fighting and none remained with him save Talha and Sa'd.  

مسلم:٢٤١٤ – حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبِي بَكْرٍ الْمُقَدَّمِيُّ وَحَامِدُ بْنُ عُمَرَ الْبَكْرَاوِيُّ وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الأَعْلَى قَالُوا حَدَّثَنَا الْمُعْتَمِرُ وَهُوَ ابْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَبِي عَنْ أَبِي عُثْمَانَ قَالَ

لَمْ يَبْقَ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ فِي بَعْضِ تِلْكَ الأَيَّامِ الَّتِي قَاتَلَ فِيهِنَّ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ غَيْرُ طَلْحَةَ وَسَعْدٍ عَنْ حَدِيثِهِمَا

bukhari:4060 – Mūsá b. Ismāʿīl > Muʿtamir from his father > Zaʿam Abū ʿUthmān

ʿUthman said that on the day of the battle of Uhud, none remained with the Prophet ﷺ but Talha and Saʿd.
